Local youth baseball team wins tournament title

The South Jersey Ospreys 12U baseball team won the championship of the GMG End of the Year Win Your Ring Tournament in Cherry Hill in late October.

The Ospreys, based in Middle Township, won one of two games in preliminary play before topping Arsenal Wolfpack, 9-1, in the semifinal round and followed with a 14-4 win over USA Prime Navy in the championship.
