Abigail Lagares of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A senior on the swimming team, Lagares won the 500-yard freestyle race during a meet against Cape May Tech earlier this month. She also placed third in the 100 backstroke. In a later meet against Middle Township, Lagares finished second in the 500 freestyle and was part of the second-place 200 medley relay team.
