VIDEO, PHOTOS: Reed, Lewis pace LCM past rival Middle Township

ERMA – Lower Cape May Regional High School’s girls lacrosse team continued its solid start to the season with a victory over its closest rival Tuesday afternoon.

The Lady Tigers had seven players score goals in rolling to an 18-1 win over Middle Township. The victory improved Lower Cape May to 4-1 on the young season.

Ainsley Reed was the game’s offensive star as she scored six goals to go with one assist. Olivia Lewis was also extremely instrumental offensively for Lower, posting two goals and four assists.

Also for Lower, Brooke Robinson added a hat trick and Nora Shoffler, Sianna King and Tessa Hueber each chipped in two goals. Greta Shepanski also contributed a goal.

Shoffler registered a game-best six draw controls, with Hueber adding five.

Abbie Teefy scored the lone goal for Middle Township (0-3).
