The Middle Township High School wrestling program continues to collect trophies.
The Panthers won their third tournament championship of the young season Friday when they posted nine individual titles and placed 12 wrestlers overall in finals in taking first place at the Palmyra Christmas Tournament.
Middle was led by 190-pounder Max Adelizzi, who won a weight class at the Palmyra Tournament for the fourth time in his career. Adelizzi, who exited the tournament at 9-1 on the season, was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Wrestler.
Other champions for Middle included Calvin Parke (106), Cameron Parke (120), Dontae Kelly (132), Tyler King (144), R.J. Attenborough (157), Noah Nagle (165), Shaun Watkins (220) and Maurice Matthews (Hwt.).
Also for Middle, Ben Banks (113), R.J. Garden (138) and Connor Rowlands (15) each placed second. Nate McCrone (215) picked up a third-place finish.
Middle’s victory at Palmyra comes on the heels of tournament wins at Hammonton and Vineland earlier this month.
Middle next wrestles Thursday in a dual match at home against St. Augustine Prep.
