MudHen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week: Amaya Furey-Harmon, Middle Township

Amaya Furey-Harmon of Middle Township High School is the latest MudHen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A junior female member of the school’s wrestling team, Fiery-Harmon won a Cape-Atlantic League individual wrestling title last weekend at Buena Regional High School. Competing in the weight class of up 235 pounds, Furey-Harmon won her opening match by pin before posting a 6-3 victory in the championship bout.

Furey-Harmon also won an individual CAL wrestling title last season as a sophomore.
