Alyssa Ferrante of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A junior on the volleyball team, Ferrante has been a driving force for the Lady Tigers, who improved to 9-6 on the season with Thursday’s win 2-1 win over Ocean City. Earlier this week, Ferrante had 16 kills, four digs and 13 service points in a narrow 25-18, 22-25, 26-24, over rival Middle Township.

Ferrante is considered as one of the best volleyball players in the Cape-Atlantic League. For the season, she had 129 kills, 67 digs and 117 service points (with 48 aces) entering the match with Ocean City.
