Ty Bonner of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A sophomore on the boys basketball team, Bonner erupted for a career-high 32 points in a 70-44 victory over Millville earlier this week, scoring 19 of his points in the second half. His 32-point output marked the third time in four games that Bonner scored at least 20 points in a game.

Bonner was averaging 13.4 points per game going into Friday’s Cape-Atlantic League Playoff Tournament quarterfinal with Mainland. Lower took a record of 19-4 into that contest.
