Kody Lewis of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A senior on the baseball team, Lewis had four hits in seven at bats to help Lower Cape May win the Warrior Classic tournament last weekend. He was also the winning pitcher in the tournament championship game against Wildwood, earning tournament co-MVP honors along with teammate Evan Shoffler. Lewis was also the winning pitcher in Tuesday’s dramatic 6-5 win over Hammonton.

A four-year starter, Lewis is a catcher, pitcher and infielder for the Caper Tigers this spring. He’s hitting .273 with 11 RBI and 11 runs scored.

Lewis is set to play college baseball at Division II Georgian Court University.
