Justen Wen of Middle Township High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

Wen, a tennis player and swimmer for the Panthers, was recently honored as the school’s 2024 NJSIAA Scholar Athlete. In order to qualify as an NJSIAA Scholar Athlete, a student must be a senior who plays at least one sport, possesses a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 and exhibits outstanding school and community citizenship.

Wen has been a top performer for the tennis team this spring, going 14-4 in regular-season matches at second singles through Monday.

He competed in the individual medley, breaststroke and relay races during swimming season.

Wen is headed to Harvard University in the fall, with plans to study environmental science engineering.
