Mason Blizzard of Middle Township High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A senior on the baseball team, Blizzard was one of the best catchers in the Cape-Atlantic League during the 2024 season. At the plate, he led Middle with 21 walks.

Blizzard was the recipient of the Atlantic County Umpires Association’s annual scholarship, receiving $1,000 toward college tuition. A fine student at Middle, Blizzard has already earned an associates degree through a program with Atlantic Cape Community College. Blizzard plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree but has yet to choose his destination.
