Chase Hansen of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A junior on the wrestling team, Hansen won his third individual title of the young season when he placed first in the 138-pound weight class at the Art Marinelli Holiday Tournament at Egg Harbor Township High School last week, helping the Caper Tigers to a second-place finish in the 12-team competition. Hansen also won his 100th career match in the process, becoming the ninth wrestler in Lower Cape May history to reach the milestone.

Hansen, who finished third in the state at 132 pounds and set a single-season school record with 46 victories last season, also placed first at the Pete Adams Memorial Tournament at Hammonton High School and at the Gator Tournament at Gateway Regional High School earlier this season.
