Junior Hans of the Wildwood High School football team is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Athlete of the Week.

A senior quarterback, defensive back and kicker, Hans had a hand in 26 of the team’s points in a 28-21 win over Cumberland in Wildwood’s 28-21 win over Cumberland in its season opener last Thursday.

Hans completed 10 of 26 passes and threw for 234 yards and two touchdowns, ran 13 times for 70 yards and two more scores and kicked two extra points in the win.

Hans is a three-sport standout at Wildwood, also excelling at basketball and baseball.

Wildwood’s football team hosts Schalick on Friday. The game will be broadcast live by CapeAtlanticLive.com.
