MudHen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week: Chase Hansen, Lower Cape May

Chase Hansen of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the first MudHen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week of the 2025-26 winter sports season.

A senior on the wrestling team, Hansen won by fall at 144 pounds against Hammonton Monday evening to improve his career record to 140-5 and become Lower Cape May wrestling’s all-time wins leader.

Hansen, who has won all of his bouts so far this season by pin or technical fall, is already a three-time region champion and state qualifier.

He has committed to wrestle at Rider University next scholastic year.
