Nate McCrone of Middle Township High School is the latest MudHen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

McCrone, a senior captain on the wrestling team who competes at heavyweight, is 14-7 on the season in his first full campaign as a varsity wrestler. Earlier this season, he was a finalist at the Hammonton Tournament and placed third at the Red Bank Tournament.

Middle coach Matt Wolf calls McCrone the team’s “unsung hero. He’s been a JV wrestler for three years behind (some very good wrestlers) and he’s waited his turn to have this moment.”
