ERMA – Senior attacker Ainsley Reed erupted for five goals and also posted an assist to help the Lower Cape May Regional High School girls lacrosse team to a 16-4 win over Egg Harbor Township Monday afternoon.
The victory improved Lower to 4-2 overall, 2-1 in the Cape-Atlantic American Conference.
In addition to her six points, Reed also posted a game-best five ground balls.
Nora Shoffler also made a major impact for the Caper Tigers by recording three goals and three assists. Kendyll Godfrey also scored three times for the winners, with Brooke Robinson chipping in two goals and Mia Gilbert and Greta Shepanski each adding one.
Riley Satt and Taylor Stiteler shared goaltending duties for Lower Cape May.
The Tigers are next in action Wednesday at Ocean City.
