CAPE MAY – The Middle Township High School boys tennis team continued its tremendous season with a stellar performance at the annual Cape May Tennis Club round robin tournament Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers won each of the five individual flights to emerge as team champion. Also competing at the event were local teams Lower Cape May and Wildwood Catholic as well as Pennsylvania schools Jenkintown and Neshaminy.
The format saw competitors in each flight play one set against each other, with the winners determined by the total number of games won.
Middle’s Michael Ratchford (first), Miles Stafford (second) and Darp Patel (third) claimed singles titles.
The teams of Kenny Martina-Dante Duca (first) and Dylan Jenkins-Michael Zuzulock (second) won the doubles flights.
Middle, the Cape-Atlantic American Conference champion, takes a dual match record of 14-1 into this week.
