Nick Antonicello of Wildwood Catholic Academy is the latest MudHen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A junior on the Crusader baseball team, Antonicello is in the midst of one of the greatest offensive seasons in program history. The shortstop and pitcher went 3 for 4 with a double, triple, four runs scored and four RBI to help Wildwood Catholic to a win over Atlantic City on Tuesday. One game earlier, he went 2 for 4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI in a loss to Pleasantville.

Antonicello went into midweek batting .684 with 10 doubles, five triples, one home run, 27 runs scored, 21 RBI and 18 stolen bases in just 17 games. His 39 hits are already a single-season program record, breaking the previous record of 34 set by Bryan Toland in 2011.
