The Wildwood Catholic High School swimming team has won a championship.
The Crusaders clinched first place in the Cape-Atlantic United Conference behind a 103-66 victory over Cape May Tech Wednesday at the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool in Wildwood Crest.
The win also allowed Wildwood Catholic to finish its dual meet season unbeaten at 7-0.
Kona Wong, L.J. Belasco and Teddy Woolery were each part of four first-place finishes at the meet for the Crusaders. Individually, Wong placed first in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke, Belasco won the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle and Woolery claimed top honors in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle. The trio also teamed with Lauren Crouthamel for first place in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay races.
Crouthamel was also an individual winner, taking first in the 200 freestyle.
Wildwood Catholic now awaits seeding for the South Non-Public Tournament, which is set to begin in early February.
