Brian Cunniff of Wildwood High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A junior on the school’s boys basketball team, Cunniff posted career highs of 25 points and 16 rebounds to help the Warriors to a 66-60 overtime win over Penns Grove last week before registering 16 points and seven rebounds in a 52-47 win over Millville on Saturday.

For the season, Cunniff averages 12.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game going into Tuesday’s game against Pitman.

Cunniff is a three-sport athlete at Wildwood, also participating in cross country and baseball.
