Johanna Longstreet of Cape May Tech is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A senior pitcher on the softball team, Longstreet struck out all 12 batters she faced in tossing a four-inning perfect game in an 18-0 win over LEAP Academy on Monday that improved the Hawks to 10-12 for the season.

Longstreet, Cape May Tech’s all-time leader in pitching strikeouts with 351, has struck out 164 batters this season alone.

Longstreet also made headlines over the winter when she sank a shot at the buzzer of overtime to give the Cape May Tech girls basketball its first-ever postseason victory, a win over St. Joseph in the opening round of the Cape-Atlantic League Tournament.
