Daniella Oliver of Middle Township High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A senior on the track and field team, Oliver became a sectional champion after winning the discus throw at the South Jersey Group II Championships at Pennsauken last weekend. Oliver tossed the discus 107 feet, 1 inch, to beat teammate and second-place finisher Camille Harris by a little more than three inches. Oliver topped 34 other contestants to win the title. She’ll compete in the state championship meet this weekend at Delsea Regional High School.

Oliver was also a state qualifier in the event last season as a junior after placing fifth at the sectional meet.
