Angelina Richards of Wildwood Catholic Academy is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A sophomore on the track team, Richards twice set new program records in the 400-meter hurdles races this spring. She first broke the record at the Cape-Atlantic League championship meet on May 22 with a time of 1:07.62, placing second at the meet. Richards then topped her own record two weeks later by placing second in the event at the state Non-Public B meet with a time of 1:07.56. She also was part of the third-place 4x800-meter relay team at the state meet.

Richards also plays basketball at Wildwood Catholic.
