Catching up with former area high school athletes now competing at the college level:
Brett Nabb (junior-Eastern football-MTHS) completed 6-of-9 passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns to help the Eagles to their first win of the season last weekend, a 41-20 result over Albright. He also rushed 15 times for 80 yards. For the season, Nabb leads the team in both rushing (60 carries for 300 yards and three touchdowns) and passing (38 for 58 for 432 yards and four touchdowns). Albright (1-3) next plays Oct. 12 at home against King’s College. …
Archie Lawler (sophomore-Carnegie Mellon football-LCMR) is a linebacker for the Tartans. He has seen action in one of the team’s four games so far this season. Carnegie Mellon (4-0) entered last weekend ranked 15th nationally in Division III prior to a 30-27 overtime road win over Washington & Jefferson in a game in which the Tartans once trailed by 19 points. Carnegie Mellon next plays Saturday at home against Waynesburg. …
Steve Berrodin (sophomore-DeSales men’s soccer-MTHS) has seen action in eight of the Bulldogs’ nine games so far. DeSales (7-2), coming off a 3-1 win over Hood College last weekend, is set to play Wednesday at home against Albright. …

Kaydence Oakley (sophomore-Kean women’s soccer-WHS) has played in eight games, with four starts, so far this season for the Cougars. She has recorded a goal and two assists. Kean (5-4 overall) dropped a 2-1 decision to 10th-ranked TCNJ in its New Jersey Athletic Conference opener last weekend. The Cougars next play Wednesday at Montclair State. …
Collin Hassay (senior-Immaculata soccer-LCMR) has played in all nine of the Might Macs’ games so far this season, with five starts. He has recorded one assist. five games, with four starts, as a midfielder for the Mighty Macs (3-5-1) so far this season. Teammate Reed Lindsay (junior-Immaculata soccer-OCHS-North Cape May resident) has started all nine of the team’s games and has posted three assists. Immaculata is next in action Tuesday against Drew. …
Michael Zarfati (freshman-Rowan football-MTHS) has caught six passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns through three games for the Profs. Teammate Ernie Troiano IV (junior-Rowan football-WHS), also a wide receiver, has seen action in two games, but is currently nursing an injury. Rowan lost for the first time this season on Sept. 21, falling 58-14 at Ursinus. Rowan (2-1) is next in action Friday at Johns Hopkins. …
Sean Connelly (senior-Ursinus football-LCMR) has seen action in two of the Bears’ three games so far this season. Ursinus remained unbeaten through three games after a 54-14 win over Rowan last weekend. The Bears are next in action Friday at Muhlenberg. …
David Giulian (junior-The College of New Jersey football-MTHS), a linebacker, recorded 10 tackles (eight solo) in a wild 55-52 loss to Muhlenberg in the team’s last game on Sept. 21. It was the highest-scoring game in TCNJ history. For the season, Giulian has recorded 19 tackles, good for third on the team. The Lions (2-1) are next in action Saturday at home against Montclair State. …
Brynn Bock (senior-Alvernia soccer-MTHS) made seven saves in the Knights’ 2-2 draw at King’s College last weekend. For the season, Bock has started all 10 of Alvernia’s games and has recorded two shutouts while amassing 63 saves. Alvernia (3-6-1) next plays Tuesday at FDU Florham. …
Delaney Brown (junior-Immaculata tennis-LCMR) scored a 6-3, 6-2 victory in her second singles match to help the Mighty Macs to a 5-2 win over Lancaster Bible in their most recent action last week. She was also a 7-5, 6-1 winner in a previous match against Wilkes. Teammate Hailey Elwell (freshman-Immaculata tennis-LCMR) was a 6-4, 6-3 winner against Lancaster Bible and was a 4-6, 6-0, 10-5 (ST) winner in the fifth singles match against Wilkes. Immaculata is next in action Tuesday at Stevenson College. …
Ciara DiMauro (sophomore-Clarion women’s soccer-MTHS) has started all seven games for the Golden Eagles and has recorded a team-best two goals. Clarion (1-6) is next in action Wednesday at Seton Hill. …

Dakota Ludman (senior-Stockton field hockey-MTHS), a midfielder, is one of seven players to start all nine games so far this season. Stockton (4-5), coming off a 2-0 win at Albright last weekend, is next in action Wednesday at Immaculata. The Ospreys take a three-game winning streak into the contest. …
Kiki Soto (sophomore-Neumann soccer-LCMR) has seen action in seven games, with six starts, as a goalkeeper for the Knights. She has recorded one shutout while making 26 total saves. Neumann (4-6) next plays Wednesday at home against Stevenson. …
Gia Famiano (freshman-Wilkes field hockey-MTHS), Alyssa Morrison (freshman-Wilkes field hockey-MTHS) and Anyiah Torres (freshman-Wilkes field hockey-MTHS) are each members of the Colonels this fall. Each of the three has played in nine of the team’s 10 games, with Famiano and Morrison starting five games each. Wilkes (2-8) is next scheduled to play Saturday at Moravian. …

Mia Caso (senior-Stockton women’s soccer-WCA) has seen action in three games at fullback so far for the Ospreys (5-2-2). Stockton is next in action Wednesday when it hosts The College of New Jersey, the 10th-ranked team in the nation in Division III. …
Olivia Sgrignioli (freshman-Penn State Harrisburg-MTHS) has started all nine games for the Lions (2-4-3). PSU Harrisburg is next in action Wednesday at Wilson College. …
Lexi Frank (senior-Franklin Pierce field hockey-MTHS), a defender, is one of five players to start all eight games to date for the Division II Ravens. Franklin Pierce (1-7) is next in action Tuesday at St. Anselm. …
Hannah Hagan (freshman-King’s field hockey-MTHS) has played in three games as a goaltender so far for the Monarchs, recording two saves. King’s (2-6) is next in action Tuesday at Lycoming. …
James Wyers (freshman-Muhlenberg football-WHS) is a first-year wide receiver for the Mules who is seeing action for the program’s junior varsity team.
