VIDEO: Middle teams open swim season vs Atlantic City

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Middle Township High School boys and girls swimming teams each opened the season with losses to Atlantic City Tuesday.

The boys dropped a narrow 89-80 decision, while the girls were defeated by a score of 104-65.

In the boys meet, Max Campbell, Colin Russell and Jake Frie were each individual winners and also teamed with Evan Cronin to win the 400 freestyle relay. Individually, Campbell took top honors in the 500 freestyle, Russell was first in the 200 individual medley and Frie finished first in the 50 freestyle.

In the girls meet, Atlantic City placed first in every event en route to the victory.
