The Middle Township High School wrestling team has entered two tournaments so far this young season.
The Panthers have won both.
Coming off a team championship at the Pete Adams Memorial Tournament at Vineland High School earlier this month, Middle claimed first place at the Hammonton Kickoff Tournament on Saturday.
Middle posted 218.5 points to take top honors at the eight-team event, finishing ahead of second-place Hightstown, third-place Seneca and five others.
The Panthers produced five champions at the tournament as Calvin Parke (106), R.J. Attenborough (157), Max Adelizzi (190), Shaun Watkins (215) and Maurice Matthews (Hwt.) each placed first in their respective weight classes.
Also for Middle, Cameron Parke (120), Tyler King (144) and Connor Rowlands (150) each reached championship bouts and placed second.
Middle Township, which also won its first dual match of the season over Hammonton last week, is next in action on Friday at a tournament at Palmyra High School.
