Jasmine Black of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

Black, a junior on the Lady Tiger indoor winter track team, set a new program record with a time of 9.61 seconds in the 55-meter high hurdles race. The previous record had been set in 2021 by Ava Pierce.

Black set the new record at the state Group I indoor championship meet at The Bubble in Toms River last weekend.
