Sophia Vitelli of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A senior goalkeeper on the girls lacrosse team, Vitelli recorded 13 saves in Tuesday’s 14-8 win over Egg Harbor Township that brought the team’s record to 4-3. She has made 92 saves in seven games so far and is only 15 saves away from recording the 400th of her career.

Vitelli is set to play college lacrosse at Division I Presbyterian University.
