Lower Cape May graduate Hunter Ray has appeared in 27 games as a freshman for the Division I Fairleigh Dickinson University baseball team and is hitting .290 with two home runs and nine RBI.

Catching up with former area high school athletes now competing at the college level:

Nick Boehm (freshman-Atlantic Cape CC baseball-CMTHS) hit for the cycle and had five RBI and four runs scored to pace the Buccaneers to a recent 30-7 victory over Manor College. In the same game, teammate Tyler McDaniel (freshman-Atlantic Cape CC baseball-Cape May Tech) posted four hits, four runs scored and three RBI and another teammate, Brian Juzaitis (freshman-Atlantic Cape CC baseball-MTHS), recorded two doubles and a single while scoring twice and knocking in two runs. …

Brianna Robinson (graduate student-Stockton lacrosse-MTHS) recorded a goal and teammate Julia Gibson (junior-Stockton lacrosse-LCMR) recorded three shots on goal in the Ospreys’ 14-11 loss to Rowan over the weekend. For the season, Robinson has posted 13 goals while Gibson is third on the team with 31 goals and tops on the team with 23 assists. Stockton entered this week at 10-3 overall. … 

Jenna O’Neill (junior-Rowan lacrosse-LCMR) has started all 12 games so far for the Profs. She recorded one ground ball in the team’s 14-11 win over Stockton on Saturday. Rowan had posted an overall record of 11-1 entering this week. …

Alex Hunt (graduate student-Old Dominion baseball-Wildwood Crest resident) pitched ? of an inning and gave up one run in the Monarchs’ 15-10 win over Georgia Southern on Sunday. He has appeared in 11 games so far, all in relief and has posted a record of 2-0 with 13 strikeouts in 11 ? innings pitched. ODU entered this week at 12-21 overall, 7-8 in the Sun Belt Conference. …

MAGGIE BOYLE

Maggie Boyle (sophomore-Indiana University of Pennsylvania lacrosse) scored three goals on four shots in a 16-13 loss to Seton Hill on Saturday. For the season, Boyle has registered 17 goals and two assists in 13 games (10 starts). IUP entered this week at 4-9 overall. …

Maddyn McAnaney (freshman-Salisbury lacrosse-MTHS) has seen action in four games so far for the Seagulls. Salisbury entered this week at 10-3 overall. …

Delaney Brown (junior-Immaculata tennis-LCMR) and Hailey Elwell (freshman-Immaculata tennis-LCMR) are both key members of the Mighty Macs’ team. They each lost singles matches against Pratt Institute in a 7-0 loss on Sunday. …

Kristina McClain (junior-Ramapo lacrosse-LCMR) has started all 10 games so far as a defender for the Roadrunners. She has recorded nine ground balls and is fifth on the team with 10 caused turnovers. Ramapo entered this week at 5-5 overall, 0-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. …

MATTHEW FRAME

Matthew Frame (sophomore-Immaculata lacrosse-MTHS) has played in eight of a possible 15 games so far for the Mighty Macs. He has recorded three goals and two assists. Teammate Danny Brady (freshman-Immaculata lacrosse-MTHS) has also played in eight of a possible 15 games and has posted two ground balls. Immaculata entered this week on a seven-game winning streak. The team’s record sat at 10-5. …

Giacomo Antonicello (senior-Rutgers-Camden baseball-WCHS) went 1 for 2 with an RBI and a run scored to help the Scarlet Raptors to a 14-4 victory over Rutgers-Newark in the opening game of a doubleheader on Sunday. He has played in 17 of a possible 29 games so far, with 10 starts, and is hitting .205 with eight runs scored and six RBI. Teammate Mason Blizzard (freshman-Rutgers-Camden baseball-MTHS) has seen action in six games, with two starts, and has scored two runs. Another teammate, Tanner Oliva (freshman-Rutgers-Camden baseball-CMTHS), has pitched in one for the Scarlet Raptors. Rutgers-Camden entered this week at 19-10 overall, 4-5 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. …

Hunter Ray (freshman-FDU baseball-LCMR) went 1 for 2 with a run scored in the Knights’ 14-4 loss to Long Island University in the opening game of a doubleheader on Sunday. For the season, Ray is hitting .290 with two home runs, six doubles, nine RBI and nine runs scored while playing in 27 of a possible 36 games, with 17 starts. FDU entered this week at 8-28 overall, 8-10 in the Northeast Conference. … 

Evan Shoffler (freshman-Shippensburg baseball-LCMR) went 2 for 6 over a doubleheader split against East Stroudsburg on Sunday. For the season, the second baseman is hitting .321 with two doubles, a triple, 15 RBI and 12 runs scored while playing in 26 of a possible 34 games, with 24 starts. Shippensburg entered another doubleheader against East Stroudsburg Monday at 20-14 overall, 7-7 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. …

MACKY BONNER

Macky Bonner (freshman-Ursinus lacrosse-LCMR) posted three ground balls and a caused turnover in the Bears’ 20-10 loss Saturday to Gettysburg, the No. 9 team in the country in Division III. For the season, Bonner has posted two assists and 16 ground balls, while ranking third on the team with nine caused turnovers. He has played in 12 of a possible 13 games so far. Ursinus entered this week at 4-9 overall, 2-4 in the Centennial Conference. …

Jackson Brown (freshman-Holy Family lacrosse-LCMR) posted three ground balls and a caused turnover in Saturday’s 18-12 win over Felician. For the season, Brown has appeared in 14 games, with 11 starts, as a defender. Holy Family entered this week at 9-5 overall, 3-3 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. …

Tessa Hueber (freshman-Chatham lacrosse-LCMR) posted three goals and two assists in a 20-0 win over Geneva on Saturday. For the season, she ranks second on the team with 29 goals and is third on the team with 37 points while leading the team in both draw controls with 42 and in free-position shots with 14.  Chatham, a Division III program in Pittsburgh, entered this week at 6-5 overall, 4-2 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference. …

ABBIE TEEFY

Abbie Teefy (freshman-TCNJ lacrosse-MTHS) has played in all 12 games off the bench and has accumulated six goals and four assists so far for the Lions. TCNJ entered this week at 9-3 overall, 2-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. …

Kody Lewis (freshman-Georgian Court baseball-LCMR) has played in 14 of a possible 29 games, with seven starts, so far this season. He’s hitting .267 with a double and 10 RBI. Georgian Court entered this week at 5-25 overall, 4-16 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. … 

Gabby Cruz (freshman-Misericordia softball-MTHS) is 5-0 with a 2.85 earned run average and has recorded 39 strikeouts in 39 innings pitched. She’s appeared in a team-high 13 games, with four starts and leads the pitching staff with three complete games. Misericordia entered this week at 20-8 overall, 4-4 in the MAC Freedom Conference. …

SABRINA FAULKNER

Sabrina Faulkner (junior-Iona lacrosse-LCMR) has seen action in five of a possible six games so far as a midfielder for the Division I Gaels. She has recorded two goals. Iona entered this week at 6-7 overall, 5-1 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. …

Mike Adelizzi (junior-Penn State Abington-MTHS), a pitcher, has made four appearances (one start) so far for the Lions. He’s struck out seven in nine innings pitched. Teammate Ben Harris (junior-Penn state Abington-MTHS), also a pitcher, has made one appearance so far. Penn State Abington entered this week at 13-14 overall, 7-1 in the United East Conference. …

Morgan Delaney (junior-Lebanon Valley lacrosse-MTHS) recorded one ground ball and one caused turnover in a 23-1 win over Delaware Valley over the weekend. For the season, she’s appeared in nine of a possible 14 games as a defender. Lebanon Valley went into this week at 10-4 overall, 4-0 in the MAC Freedom Conference.

Lily Vogel (freshman-Albright softball-MTHS) has appeared in five games, with one start, so far this season. Albright is 3-19 overall, 0-8 in the MAC Commonwealth Conference. …

ZEB HINKER

Zeb Hinker (junior-Rutgers track-LCMR)  placed 69th out of 121 finishers in the 1500-meter race with a time of 3:54.96 at the Duke Invitational earlier this month. Earlier in the season, he was ninth out of 46 finishers with a time of 3:52.96 in the same event at the University of South Florida Invitational. …

Devon Bock (sophomore-Ursinus track & field-MTHS) placed 33rd in the javelin throw at the Ursinus Track & Field Festival earlier this month.
