Tori Atwood of Middle Township High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A junior catcher on the softball team, Atwood has gone 4 for 6 with a double, two runs scored and three RBI over her last two games. For the season, Atwood is batting a team-leading .438 with 14 hits in 32 at bats. She leads the team in slugging percentage at .625, is tied for the team lead with four extra-base hits and is tied for third on the team with seven RBI.

Atwood has been a starter for the Lady Panthers since her freshman season.

Middle takes a record of 5-5 into Friday’s home game with Our Lady of Mercy Academy.
