Matt DiCave of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A senior on the baseball team, DiCave has been a pitching and hitting standout for the Caper Tigers this spring. Going into Friday’s game against Ocean City, he was leading the team in batting average (.396), hits (19), RBI (15) and stolen bases (15).

DiCave has been equally instrumental as a pitcher. Going into Friday’s game, he had 61 strikeouts in just 29 innings pitched with an earned run average of 3.85 over six appearances.

DiCave is set to attend Penn College of Technology in the fall.
