Amanda Daino of the Cape May County TechnicalHigh School is the latest Mudhen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A senior outfielder on the softball team, Daino recently recorded her 100th career hit, becoming just the second player in program history to reach the milestone. Danio went into Friday’s game against Lower Cape May leading the Lady Hawks in a variety of offensive categories – batting average (.552), hits (32), runs scored (30) and stolen bases (9). She’s a major reason why Cape May Tech (10-4) has won 10 of its last 11 games going into Friday’s contest with Lower.

Daino has been a three-sport athlete at Cape May Tech. She averaged 9.5 points and 3.5 rebounds for the girls basketball team over the winter and scored three goals for the girls soccer team last fall.

Daino is set to attend Atlantic Cape Community College in the fall.
