CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE -- The Middle Township High School field hockey team battled hard against a good Hammonton team but ultimately fell, 1-0, Wednesday afternoon.

Hammonton scored the lone goal in the first quarter off the stick of Jenna Vivadelli. The Blue Devils improved to 9-1 with the win.

Zoe Hagan made four saves in goal for Middle (1-5-1), which had lost 7-0 to Hammonton earlier this season.
