ERMA -- The Lower Cape May Regional High School field hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to Millville Wednesday at home.

Trailing 1-0 at halftime, Lower Cape May earned a handful of corner chances and put pressure on the Thunderbolt defense for much of the third quarter. But the Lady Tigers failed to score and Millville picked up an insurance goal in the final minute of the period.

Lower fell to 5-5 with the loss while Millville upped its record to 7-1.
