Nolan Mawhinney of Wildwood High School is the latest MudHen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A junior on the boys basketball team, Mawhinney recently helped the Warriors post a three-game winning streak. He scored 23 points in a victory over Salem Tech, posted 30 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in a win over Clayton and added 10 points in a victory over Maple Shade. He also had 21 points in a close loss to Williamstown earlier this month.

For the season, Mawhinney entered this week averaging 14.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Mawhinney also competes in cross country and baseball for Wildwood.
