Caden Elwell of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest 

MudHen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A senior on the baseball team, Elwell enjoyed a terrific showing at the plate during four games last week. He went 8 for 13 with five runs scored, two RBI and seven stolen bases as Lower went 2-2 in two games with Middle Township and one each with Cape May Tech and St. Joseph. His best output of the week came in Friday’s 6-3 loss to St. Joseph, in which Elwell went 4 for 4 with a double, a run scored, two RBI and two stolen bases.

Elwell was hitting .355 with three doubles going into this week.
