Jackson Brown (sophomore-Holy Family lacrosse-LCMR), a defender, posted four ground balls and one caused turnover as the Tigers beat Caldwell, 28-9, on Saturday to clinch the program’s first-ever berth in the Central Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. For the season, Brown has played in all 12 games, with 11 starts, for Holy Family (7-5 overall, 4-3 CCAC). Teammate Zac Castellano (freshman-Holy Family lacrosse-LCMR) is also on the roster but has yet to see action this season.Holy Family is scheduled to host Wilmington Wednesday in its regular-season finale. …
Hunter Ray (sophomore-FDU baseball-LCMR) went 2 for 4 with an RBI in FDU’s 10-2 loss to LeMoyne on Sunday. One day earlier, Ray added to his single-season program record with his 19th home run, a two-run shot in the Knights’ 19-13 victory. For the season, Ray is hitting .365 with 57 RBI and 47 runs scored. His home run and RBI totals are tops in the Northeast Conference. FDU (23-15 overall, 16-5 NEC) is next in action this weekend with a three-game series at Mercyhurst. …
Dennis Serra (freshman-Kean lacrosse-LCMR) has seen action in six games so far as a midfielder, posting one goal and two ground balls. Kean (7-9 overall, 0-4 New Jersey Athletic Conference) was scheduled to play Tuesday at Stevens. …
Logan Totten (freshman-Atlantic Cape Community College baseball-WHS) went 1 for 3 with an RBI to help the Buccaneers to a 4-3 win over Northampton Community College on Saturday. For the season, Totten is hitting .294 with 15 RBI and 14 runs scored. ACCC was scheduled to host Montgomery County Community College on Tuesday. …
Sophia Vitelli (freshman-Presbyterian lacrosse-LCMR) has seen action in goal in one game so far this season. Presbyterian, a member of the Division I Big South Conference, is scheduled to host Winthrop on Wednesday. The team is 4-11 overall, 1-5 Big South. …
Evan Shoffler (sophomore-Shippensburg baseball-LCMR) went 4 for 6 with two RBI and a run scored over two games as the Raiders dropped a pair of close games in a doubleheader with East Stroudsburg by scores of 7-5 and 4-3. For the season, Shoffler entered this week hitting .328 with four home runs, seven doubles, two triples, 23 RBI and 32 runs scored. He also leads the team with 12 stolen bases in as many attempts. Shippensburg (23-16 overall, 10-10 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) was next scheduled to play Tuesday at Pitt-Johnstown. …
Gabby Cruz (sophomore-Misericordia softball-MTHS) scattered three hits and three walks, struck out four and allowed only an unearned run to lead the Cougars to a 5-1 win over Lebanon Valley College on Saturday. The win was the 11th straight for Cruz, who’s 13-3 with a 2.20 ERA with 70 strikeouts in 82.2 innings pitched. She’s also batting .238 with a double, three RBI and three runs scored at the plate. Misericordia (22-10 overall, 10-2 MAC Freedom) is next scheduled to play in a doubleheader Thursday at Penn State Harrisburg. …
Sabrina Faulkner (senior-Iona lacrosse-LCMR), a midfielder, played in four games for the Gaels this spring. She recorded one goal and two ground balls. Iona finished the season at 3-13 overall, 0-8 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. …
Olivia Lewis (freshman-Kutztown lacrosse-LCMR) has played in three games off the bench and has recorded a goal and an assist. Kutztown (9-5 overall, 5-4 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) is next in action Wednesday when it hosts Bloomsburg. …
Maddie Gilbert (freshman-Kutztown tennis-LCMR) and teammate Isabella deNadai teamed to post a 6-2 win at first doubles in a 6-1 loss to Shippensburg last weekend. Gilbert also competed at second singles and lost in straight sets. For the season, Gilbert is 4-10 at singles and 5-10 at doubles. Kutztown is next in action Wednesday at West Chester. …
Adam Radzieta (freshman-Rowan Cumberland baseball-MTHS) has pitched in four games, with one start, so far for the Dukes. He has struck out 11 in 13.1 innings pitched and has an ERA of 4.73. Rowan Cumberland was scheduled to host Camden County College Tuesday. …
Madison Groetsch (freshman-Eastern lacrosse-LCMR) has started 11 times in 13 games as an attacker and has registered three goals and an assist. Eastern (4-9 overall, 0-5 MAC Commonwealth, next plays Wednesday at Albright. …
Julia Wallace (freshman-TCNJ softball-WCA) has appeared in 25 games, mostly as a pinch runner and defensive replacement for the Profs. She has scored seven runs and stolen two bases. The College of New Jersey (21-13 overall, 10-6 New Jersey Athletic Conference) next plays Saturday in a doubleheader at Montclair State.
Macky Bonner (sophomore-Ursinus lacrosse-LCMR) recorded three ground balls in his team’s 15-14 overtime loss to Muhlenberg last weekend. Bonner has played in all 14 of the team’s games so far and has recorded a goal, an assist, 20 ground balls and six draw controls. Ursinus (4-10 overall, 0-7 Centennial Conference) is set to close out the season Saturday at McDaniel College. …
Hailey Elwell (sophomore-Immaculata tennis-LCMR) and teammate Sophia Carey recorded a 6-3 win at first doubles in a 5-2 loss to Marywood in the team’s regular-season finale last weekend. Elwell also competed at first singles and lost in straight sets. Teammate Delaney Brown (senior-Immaculata tennis-LCMR) last competed in a loss to Neumann on April 11 and teamed with Elwell to win 7-5 at first doubles. She missed the most recent match due to injury. …
Ryan Salinsky (sophomore-Montclair State lacrosse-LCMR) has played in 10 games, with eight starts, as a defender and has recorded six ground balls and six caused turnovers. She had two caused turnovers in Saturday’s 12-11 overtime loss to Stockton on Saturday. The Redhawks (5-6 overall, 1-2 New Jersey Athletic Conference) are set to host Rowan on Wednesday. …
Julia Gibson (senior-Stockton lacrosse-LCMR) scored the opening goal in the Ospreys’ 12-11 overtime win over Montclair State on Saturday. Gibson has started all 14 games and has scored 20 goals to go with 17 assists. Teammate
Brianna Robinson (graduate student-Stockton lacrosse-MTHS) also started Saturday’s game against Montclair State. She has recorded eight goals, one assist, 20 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers. Stockton (10-4 overall, 2-1 NJAC) next plays Wednesday at The College of New Jersey. …
Maggie Boyle (junior-Indiana University of Pennsylvania lacrosse) recorded an assist in the team’s 17-7 loss to Slippery Rock on Saturday. For the season, Boyle leads the team with 31 goals while also posting five assists. She’s also second on the team in draw controls with 24. IUP (7-8 overall, 4-4 PSAC) hosts Lock Haven on Wednesday. …

Mason Blizzard (sophomore-Rutgers-Camden baseball-MTHS) went 2 for 3 with a run scored in a 7-2 loss to Montclair State in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday. For the season, Blizzard is hitting .244 with three doubles, seven RBI and four runs scored. The catcher has seen action in 16 games, with 14 starts. Rutgers-Camden (15-19 overall, 7-7 NJAC) was scheduled to play at Neumann Tuesday. …
Maddie Schiffbauer (junior-Newberry College lacrosse-LCMR) had three ground balls, a caused turnover and a draw control in a 14-6 win over Tusculum in the team’s regular-season finale Saturday. Schiffbauer played in all 17 regular-season games, with 11 starts, and posted five goals and an assist to go with 22 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and six draw controls. Newberry (9-8 overall, 6-4 South Atlantic Conference) will next play in the SAC Tournament next weekend. …
Abbie Teefy (sophomore-TCNJ lacrosse-MTHS) scored two goals, dished an assist and won seven draw controls to help the Lions, ranked 18th nationally in Division III, to a 20-1 win over Ramapo on Saturday. Teefy has started all 14 games so far for The College of New Jersey and has registered 28 goals, 11 assists and 28 draw controls. TCNJ (12-2 overall, 3-0 NJAC) hosts Stockton on Wednesday. …
Chase Austin (freshman-DeSales lacrosse-LCMR) scored one of his team’s goals in an 11-5 win over Misericordia on Saturday. For the season, Austin has seen action in 14 of 15 games off the bench and has posted two goals, two assists, 16 ground balls and seven caused turnovers. DeDales (7-8 overall, 4-1 MAC Freedom) is at FDU-Florham on Wednesday. …
Maddyn McAnaney (junior-Salisbury lacrosse-MTHS) posted two caused turnovers and a ground ball as the Sea Gulls remained unbeaten with a 23-8 win over St. Mary’s (Md.) last weekend. For the season, McAnaney, a defender, has played in 13 games, with two starts, and has registered seven caused turnovers and six ground balls. Salisbury (15-0 overall), ranked No. 1 in the nation in Division III, finishes the regular season Saturday with a home game against Christopher Newport. …
Tessa Hueber (sophomore-Point Park lacrosse-LCMR) had four draw controls and three shots in the Pioneers’ 16-3 loss to Frostburg State.Hueber has started 13 games and has recorded 17 goals and 13 assists. Point Park (5-11 overall, 2-7 Mountain East Conference) finishes the regular season Wednesday at Wheeling.
Matthew Frame (senior-Immaculata lacrosse-MTHS) scored twice and teammate Danny Brady (sophomore-Immaculata lacrosse-MTHS) also saw action in a 17-6 loss to Montclair State in the team’s last game on April 15. Frame is sixth on the team with 15 goals while playing in 11 games (10 starts) and Brady has played in five games thus far for the Mighty Macs this spring. Immaculata (10-5 overall, 2-1 Atlantic East Conference) finishes the regular season Saturday at Neumann. …
Kody Lewis (sophomore-Georgian Court baseball-LCMR) has played in nine games, with seven starts, at catcher so far this season. He has one hit, a run scored and four RBI. Georgian Court (8-32 overall, 5-22 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) is next in action Wednesday for a doubleheader at Jefferson.
