Ella Leahy of Middle Township High School is the latest MudHen Brewing Company/CapeAtlanticLive.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A senior first singles player on the girls tennis team, Leahy won her 75th career match Thursday with a straight-set victory against Wildwood Catholic. Leahy improved to 14-3 in her matches this season with the win.

Leahy is a four-year varsity starter for Middle, beginning her career at doubles before climbing the ranks to first singles this fall.

Leahy has helped Middle to a 14-3 record so far this season. The Lady Panthers were recently awarded the No. 3 seed for the upcoming South Jersey Group II Tournament.

Leahy is also a key contributor to Middle’s girls basketball team.
